CRISP BAKED CHICKEN

Sebelum kita teruskan dgn resepi hari...kita nak bercerita sikit..Hari nie terasa sedih, pilu dan confused sikit. Halnya dengan Baby Era. Hari Ahad lepas si Era gi sleep over kat rumah Kak Ani dan hari nie kita nak dia pulang lah, kita rinduuuu. Tadi bila sampai dirumah je dia menangis-nangis tak nak pulang rumah dan kata tak balik rumah forever. Iskkkkk....sedihnya kita... Sebenar kita tak pernah langsung berpisah dgn dia, terasa rindu sgt ....so utk redakan keadaan, terpaksalah kita bagi dia pergi lagi. Entahlah apa salahnya kita nie..masih tertanya-tanya dgn diri sendiri sekarang nie????

Lagi satu hal, sejak hari Khamis minggu lepas si Zahir kena chicken pox dan pada hari Sabtu, papa pulak yg kena...So kita lah kena jaga dua-dua sekali. So far,Zahir dah ok tp papanya masih dalam keadaan yg teruk sgt. Itulah org kata, bila kena chicken pox pada usia yg meningkat nie,mmg sakit yg teramat dan terus terang kita pun tak sanggup tengok. So far, I'm still survived and insyaallah tak akan terjebaklah....

Itulah salah satu sebabnya si Era sleep over di rumah Kak Ani supaya dia selamat dan not infected eventhough dia dah dpt vaccine.

RESEPI HARI NIE....

CRISP BAKED CHICKEN-Recipe from Kak Muna..Thanks and likes it so much....yummy....

Ingredients:

8 slices white bread
3/4 cup Parmesan cheese, finely grated
1 teaspoon thyme
Freshly ground pepper
1 cup buttermilk (alternatively, you may use yoghurt)
Coarse salt
1 tsp paprika powder
1 tsp tumeric powder
chicken pieces (I'm using chicken wings), rinsed and patted dry

Method:

Preheat the oven to 200C. Oil a baking sheet.
In a food processor, grind the bread into fine crumbs. In a shallow bowl, combine the breadcrumbs, Parmesan, thyme, and pepper, salt, paprika and tumeric.

In a second large bowl, combine the buttermilk, salt, and pepper. Add the chicken, turning to coat (you may leave the chicken in the buttermilk overnight).

Remove one piece of chicken from buttermilk mixture, shaking off excess liquid. Drop into the breadcrumb mixture and turn to coat. Place on prepared baking sheet. Repeat with remaining chicken.

Bake for 40 minutes, rotating pans halfway through cooking.
