Finally kita gi dentist...selepas 3 thn duduk di sini, nie kali ke 2 jumpa dentist. So kene tampallah gigi..so alhamdulillah semuanya ok dan kosnya pun tak mahal...dan gigiku tak sumbing lagi.....













DAGING MASAK MAMAK

Bahan:

1 kg daging lembu (direbus sampai lembut)
2 sudu besar serbuk cili kering (cap babas/allagapas)
1 sudu kecil serbuk jintan putih
1 sudu kecil serbuk sajira

Bahan kisar:

10 ulas bwg putih
10 ulas bwg merah
5-10 labu bwg besar
sedikit halia

2 btg serai - titik
Daun kari
Daun pandan (simpulkan)
Daun pudina (option)
3/4 cwn kicap manis
1/4 cwn tomato puri
1sb minyak sapi (option)
1cwn bwg goreng (tumbuk halus)
sedikit air asam jawa
4 sekawan (bunga lawang/kulit kayu manis/buah pelaga/cengkih)

Cara:

Panaskan minyak + minyak sapi.
Masukkan bahan kisar, 4 sekawan, daun pandan, serai, serbuk cili, jintan putih dan sajira...kacau dan biar hingga naik aromanya.
Masukkan daging dan airnya sekali.
Bila daging dah lembut dan rempah dah naik minyak, tambahkan bwg besar hiris, kicap, daun kari dan biarkan daging itu empuk sekejap.
Masukkan tomato puri, daun pudina dan air asam jawa.
Tambahkan garam secukup rasa.
Agak2 kuah dah naik kering, masukkan bawang goreng yg ditumbuk tadi utk pekatkan kuah.












TERUNG BERLADO

Bahan-bahan:

5 batang terung, dibelah dua
1 helai daun limau purut
minyak masak
sos tiram
garam,gula
1 biji buah tomato di potong 4

Bahan hiris:

3 batang cili merah
1 biji bawang besar
1 ulas bawang putih



Cara:

1. Terung disalai atas kuali sehingga lembut.
2. Panaskan minyak dan tumis bahan hiris dan daun limau purut sehingga naik bau.
3. Kemudian masukkan sos tiram, gula dan jugak bahan perasa jika suka.
4. Masukkan terung yang telah disalai dan buah tomato dan gaul rata.
5. Siap untuk dihidang.

TAHU BERLADA (BEAN CURD CHILLY) & DAGING MASAK HITAM MANIS

TAHU BERLADA [Tokua Goreng Cabai] - resipi dr Kak Liza

Bahan:

2 keping tahu [goreng dan potong ]
1 labu bawang besar [mayang kasar]
2 s/b sos tomato
daun kari
minyak
garam
gula

Bahan Mesin
5 tangkai cili merah
10 tangkai cili api
2 ulas bawang putih
5 ulas bawang merah

Cara:

1. Panaskan minyak dan tumiskan daun kari sehingga wangi.
2. Masukkan bahan mesin dan kacau rata. Masakkan sehingga naik minyak..
3. Masukkan sos tomato, gula, garam dan bawang besar. Masak sehingga bawang layu.
4. Masukkan tahu dan kacau rata.
5. Hidangkan.

Nota: Saya tambahkan isi mussel ke dlm masakan di atas.

FRIED CHILLY TOFU

Ingredients:

2 pcs tofu (non taste one, It's better to use hard tofu) - fried and cut
1 big onion (chopped)
2 tbsp tomato sauce
curry leaves
cooking oil
salt
sugar

Blended Ingredients:

5 nos red chillies
10 nos birds eye chillies
2 cloves garlic
5 shallots

Method:

1. Heat oil in a wok and put in the curry leaves. Fry till fragrant.
2. Put in the blended ingredients and mix well. Fried till thickens.
3. Put in tomato sauce,sugar,salt and chopped onion. Cook until onion turns brown .
4. Lastly put in tofu .
5. Mix well and serve.

Note: I add mussel to the cooking above












DAGING MASAK HITAM MANIS

BAHAN:

600gm daging btg pinang – dipotong dan direbus bersama kicap (air rebusan jgn dibuang)
1/2 cwn - kicap manis
3 sudu besar cili kering yg telah diblend (ikut suka pedas)

BAHAN A – asingkan kepada 2 bhg. (untuk digaul bersama daging dan utk tumisan)

1 sudu kecil serbuk jintan manis
1 sudu kecil serbuk jintan putih

Bahan Blend:

3 Bwg putih
4 Bwg merah
sedikit Halia

Bunga lawang/kulit kayu manis/buah pelaga/asam keping
Minyak masak

Cara:

1. Daging yang dipotong/dihiris nipis – direbus bersama kicap.
(Air rebusan jgn byk sangat sbb daging keluarkan air rebusan)
2. Bila daging dah empuk, gaul sedikit dengan bhg. A, goreng kejap jer.
3. Asingkan daging ke dlm pinggan, masukkan pula lebihan bhn. A tadi utk ditumis.Masukkan cili kering (kalau suka pedas taruh lebih), kacau sebati.
4. Masukkan pula daging dan air rebusan tadi, gaul sampai rata.Taburkan asam keping,bunga lawang,kayu manis dan buah pelaga.
5. Masukkan kicap jika nak nampak lebih hitam lagi (kita tambah lagi sedikit kicap biar hitam )
6. Biarkan mendidih sekejap dan kuah agak pekat, bolehlah diangkat


ERA & ME NOT FEELING WELL (mama - sakit tekak dan gigi patah sikit jadilah sumbing...hehehehehe dan era- flu) SINCE LAST WEEK BUT WE STILL GO TO RUMAH MALAYSIA TO CELEBRATE AGONG'S BIRTHDAY ON SATURDAY. this is what served on that day........

MEAT BALLS

Ingredients:

500gm minced meat
1 clove crushed garlic
1/2 cup fresh coriander - chopped
green chillies - pounded (option)
1 egg
1 onion
salt & blackpepper
1/2 cup breadcrumbs


Method:

1. Place the beef,breadcrumbs,onion, chillies,corriander,salt,blackpepper in a large mixing bowl & mix until well blended.
2. Using hands, shape the mixture into balls about the size of golf balls.
3. Heat oil and butter (if u like) until very hot and add the meat balls and brown quickly on all sides.


NIE PULAK MINI CHICKEN PIE.....







DAN KEK LAPIS MASAM MANIS..TAK MENJADIK KRN TEKTURNYA KERING...KEK NIE BAKAR.RASANYA LEBIH BAIK KUKUS....TAK LETAKKAN RESIPI.....

I am sure you all have heard of 'pick pocket'.

A new trend 'push pocket'.
Read on.. This is for your own good


A few days ago a new type of crime has surfaced in town. It goes something like this: Somebody slips a hand-phone into your pocket,

Sometimes it could be just a wallet with an identity card and a few ringgits.
A few minutes later, the 'owner' comes up and confronts you, the 'thief '.

He makes a big commotion that you stole his stuff.
You, caught unaware, are then pulled aside by the 'owner' for a settlement

You are intimidated and threatened that if you do not pay up the police will be brought in. If you pay up, this 'owner' lets you go.
If not, the police are brought in.
Another strange thing is that there always seems to be a 'witness' to your 'theft'.

I am told this often happens to foreigners at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) or even at LRT trains.

Given that you're 'guilty until proven innocent' as far as the Malaysian police are concerned, I understand some poor people are in jail for these 'offences'.

At the KLIA, the 'owner' throws his hand-phone and wallet with the few ringgit notes into the luggage trolley of a just arrived passenger. The drama unfolds a few minutes later. The real culprit has easily convinced our Malaysian police to arrest the real victim (if he has not paid up the 'settlement' demand). This is a very serious matter.

This is another form of extortionists operating in broad daylight. They are disgusting criminals who will do anything to rob and steal.

The sickening part of the whole scenario is that unless you pay the 'quoted settlement' money, they will put you in real trouble by calling the police.
The real culprit gets back his hand-phone and wallet but the real victim (i.e. could be any one of us) is thrown into the police lock up and charged in court.

So do be very careful, otherwise you may end up as a 'thief' as you have no way to prove your innocence.

Pass it on..... let more people be aware of such things around them.

Hari nie hari terakhir anak-anak bersekolah.Bawa banana cupcakes utk Zahir dan Ika. Anak-anak akan bercuti sampai awal bulan Ogos.





















BANANA ROULADE

Ingredients:

4 banana
4 spring rolls skin
1 tablespoon of brown sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon powder
1 teaspoon of sesame seeds
2 tablespoon of chocolate sauce
1 tablespoon of butter
Oil for frying


Method:

Layer the banana with butter and sprinkle with brown sugar, cinnamon powder and sesame seeds.

Roll it using spring roll skin and fry until golden.

Serve together with fresh strawberries and chocolate sauce.

life i.e.they die.

Rasulullah [salallahi alai wasallam] used to say this
when going to sleep:

Bismillaah bika nahyaa wabika namaut [In the name of
Allah I live and I die]


This means: each time you go to bed you should never
be sure you will get up again, you ONLY have 50%
chance for coming back to life. This means: each time
you go to bed you should be
prepared for your hereafter.

This means: when you wake up the next day you should
appreciate how lucky (blessed) you are. And say
'Blessed be the one who returned my soul to my body,
and granted me another chance'. This is what the
prophet PBUH used to say when he wakes up. This means:
when you wake up the next day you should make sure you
utilize the new day as much as you can before sleep
time comes,in case the new day you are living is the
last chance you are given.

Rasulullah [salallahi alai wasallam] used to say this
on waking up:

"Alhamdulillahil ladzi ahyaana ba'ad maa amatana wa
ilaihin nushoor" [Praise be upon Him who gives life
after death and unto Him is our return]

This means: you should try to make sure you recite
sura AL-MULK (chapter 67) before sleeping, because the
prophet PBUH promised that one who reads this sura
before sleeping is saved from the punishment of the
grave.May Allah forgive us all and bless us with a
happy life in this dunya and the hereafter.

Hari nie kita gi ke pejabat pos utk ambil barang kiriman dari kakak kita di Sarawak. Kita tunggu lebih kurang 2 bulan dan pergi tergesa-gesa sampai terlupa kunci rumah dalam rumah. Terpaksa call papa dan tunggu almost 1 jam kat luar rumah. So lain kali kene ingat.....pengajaran ini .... Ada tak lain kali nak terima bungkusan, rasanya taklah kot krn insyaAllah tak lama dah tinggal di sini.

Memang terlalu seronok krn dah lama teringin nak makan sardin cap Ayam dan buat laksa Sarawak nie.....














NIE PULAK KEK CARROT









KEK CARROT

Bahan:

2 1/2 cwn Tepung Berserbuk Penaik
1st baking powder
1st soda bicarbonate
1/2st cinnanom powder
1/4 st garam
3/4 cwn brown sugar
1 cwn gula castor
4 biji telur
1 cwn minyak jagung
1 cwn mentega cair
3 cwn lobak (diparut - <>2 biji lobak yg sederhana besar)
3/4 cwn walnut cincang


Cara:

1. Panaskan oven 180C
2. Dalam mangkuk ayakkan tepung,baking powder,soda bicarbonate dlm mangkuk.
3. Masukkan lobak merah parut, minyak jagung, mentega cair, cinnamon powder, brown sugar, castor sugar dan telur
4. Putar adunan sehingga lembut dan gebu. Masukkan walnut dan putar lagi sebentar.
5. Bakar dlm oven selama 45 min hingga 1 jam.
6. Biarkan sejuk dan buatkan topping.


Topping:

3/4 ketul cream cheese
3 cm mentega
1/3 cwn icing sugar (boleh tambahkan lagi)
1 sudu teh lime juice
(kalau nak more creamy lagi lebihkan butter/krimwell)

Cara:

Putar semua bahan di atas sehingga lembut dan halus. Sapukan pada kek.

1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon bicarbonate soda
1 teaspoon cinnamon powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
3/4 cups brown sugar
1 cup castor sugar
4 eggs
1 1/2 cups corn oil or vegetable oil
1 cup melted butter
3 cups carrot (shredded - from <> 2 nos carrot - medium size)
3/4 cup chopped walnut

Method :

1. Pre- heated oven at 180c.
2. In a bowl, sift flour,baking powder and bicarbonate soda.
3. Then shredded carrots,oil,melted butter,cinnamon powder,brown sugar,castor sugar and eggs.
4. Mix well , add in the walnuts and mix again.
5. Bake in the oven for 45 minutes - 1 hour.
6. Let the cake cool and prepare the topping.

Topping:

3/4 stick cream cheese
3 cm butter
1/3 cup icing sugar (add more)
1 teaspoon lime juice
(if you want more creamy add more butter/krimwell)

Method :

Beat the above ingredients till light and fluffy. Spread on top of the cake.
